Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Housing projects account for 80% of Aldar Properties’ under-development projects portfolio, chief development officer Talal Al Dhiyebi revealed.

Aldar is still focusing on launching housing projects in the coming phase to meet investors’ growing demand on the real estate sector in Abu Dhabi, stated Al Dhiyebi, according to a company statement.

The company has sold 100% of its units in the first phase of the Water's Edge project, he added on the sidelines of Cityscape Global.

Al Dhiyebi noted that this project enjoys a waterfront on Yas Island, as Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, and the planned Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi.

Aldar Properties launched the AED 2.4 billion Water's Edge project with 2,225 housing units overlooking the waterfront and considered the first middle-income project in Yas Island, Aldar stated.
